What to plant in the fall, coastal San Diego

Fall planting season in Southern California is like spring – you can plant and grow lots of greens and vegetables. You shoudn't plant worm season plants like tomatoes.

We just planted purple Armenian fava beans, Japanese red turnip seeds, albino beets, chart, radishes, kale, aragula, lettuce, spinach and broccoli. Carrots, onions and sugar peas are going as well.
